There are magnificent walks straight out of the door of Hill House - several of which follow the Macmillan Way. Your hosts will happily suggest routes to suit your energy levels and provide you with maps and fill your water bottles! Stourhead

Slightly further afield you will find Stourhead - one of our family favourites! This beautiful 18th century landscape garden (by Capability Brown) is peppered with the most delightful temples and grottos - and is the perfect place to take a picnic; though the Spreadeagle pub on the estate is a good option too! A visit here can easily be combined with a trip to Stonehenge.
